I was born to a mixed family where the whole world was in our home. Our home was full of cultures, full of colours, and full of possibilities. Our table was filled with little bites from different countries. I’ve lived my life belonging everywhere and nowhere at the same time. My journey in food and my love for ingredients started early on. I decided to pursue law, as my love for reading, writing, and helping others has always been prevalent.
During law school back in 2013-2014, I worked as a food critic. I used to be invited to restaurants and hotels to write my reviews and experiences. That connection to food was always there. Years later, I became a licensed lawyer. The kitchen, however, has always been my refuge, my peace, my serenity. It called to me, and always lured me back in. So I dived in.
I then moved to Montréal, Canada, the food capital of North America. My fiery passion only grew more fervent. What better place to unleash my earnest desire to learn than the home of gastronomy itself?
And so, I went to culinary school and I climbed up the ladder and became a chef!
